I had a bad end to the day and just suddenly could not go anymore. I told them to go ahead and rode a few by myself.... Probably good. Made our mileage with about 5000 ft of climbing and a 10 mph headwind.
In nets prov. park now. Showers/ food / laundry!
Tomorrow looks to be much less climbing and hopefully the nagging hamstring for me goes away.
No quitting now, only 3 full days left.

Lots of advil, A few at a time ALL day..and dont push any big gear, Spin, Spin. Most of ALL STAY together......Is a MUST...
ReplyDeleteAlso put LOTS of ice on to sore part of leg if you can and elevate ...In the am before the ride stretch your legs SLOW...BUT MOST IMPORTANT IS STICK TOGETHER...NO RIDING ALONE....
ReplyDeleteFirst there's a post with "Charlie" and "ouch" to get me nervous, now "Charlie" and "gone"...I'm just so relieved you're still alive, Dad!! Looks like you're on the adventure of a lifetime, I expect many stories once you're back home and well rested! I hope you're stretching a lot; yoga is your friend! Keep all the photos and updates coming, I like following along. You all have a lot of cheerleaders here, go hard or go home!
ReplyDeleteLove you!
